Clean water wells funded through Walk4Water continue to flow in places Yendi, Ghana. At the Kamshegu Health Clinic in that village, a well was drilled for the patients and local residents that provided them with clean and accessible water.

This water well is just one of 12 new wells that will be drilled in partnership with GWAM (Ghana West Africa Missions), Rural Water Well Development Project (RWDP), and UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund). This partnership also includes a refurbishment of 40 existing wells in this northern Ghana region as a response to the global Covid-19 pandemic. There have been more than 10,000 cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in the country of Ghana.

With this partnership, the people near Yendi can continue to have access to clean water that provides drinking water along with an optimal resource for proper sanitation and hygiene. We are rejoicing together that this important work can continue during this time and lives are being saved.
