2011 Magi Project is Record Breaking!
Posted by Lori Kovach on November 30, 2011

What a wonderful year it has turned out to be for HHI's Magi Project. We have received an astonishing 18,627 Magi Boxes! This is a huge increase over the 14,000 that were put together last year. Both our Fort Worth and Nashville offices have seen new groups get involved plus, groups that have been participating for years, have multiplied their efforts. This is not only the most boxes we have ever collected but it is also the largest increase we have ever had in one year!

We cannot thank you enough for your hard work and dedication to this program. From those that coordinated the project at their church or within their groups to those that volunteered countless hours sorting and packing boxes at our warehouses...we could not do this without you! So many of you have participated by getting involved with our Dorcas Ministry and sewing dresses, hats and outfits to be included with the gifts. Others of you were on the lookout all year for awesome deals on toys, flip flops, hygiene items, etc. Thank you for thinking of those less fortunate and helping us to make the Christmas season a little brighter for so many.

Our crew will be leaving on December 13 to travel to Honduras and begin delivering the Christmas presents you so lovingly put together. We can't wait to share the pictures of joy as children accept their gifts. We would love for you to send us pictures of your group or family assembling your Magi Boxes. Please send these to LKovach@hhi.org and thank you in advance!
