Jennifer is the author of five books including Look to Love and Prayer In Practice, two Bible studies (Philippians & Nehemiah), and the bi-weekly email essay The Goodness. She teaches how to read the Bible to fall in love with God via her podcast, Look to Love. Gerhardt and her husband Justin (creator of the popular podcast Holy Ghost Stories) lead The Storied Family, a parenting workshop to help families discover their identity and purpose in the context of God’s story. They homeschool their two teenage daughters. JL has an MA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She’s a former college English instructor, newspaper journalist, and storytelling minister.
Rita Cato Cochrane was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Her father was a minister of the gospel who worked and traveled with Marshall Keeble. Her mother was a sought-after ladies Bible class teacher and speaker. She received her degree in Education from Lipscomb University and taught middle school for 25 years. Afterwards, she was employed at Healing Hands International before taking the role as Director of Women’s Ministry at the Church of Christ in Green Hills.
Rita is married to Michael Cochrane, an elder in the church, and is mother to three adult children, grandmother to six rambunctious boys, and has served as “American Mom” to four international students. In addition to Rita’s duties as Director of Women’s Ministry, Rita speaks and teaches for conferences, Bible classes, lectureships, and Ladies’ Days in the US and abroad. She writes a weekly email devotional called “Monday Meditation.” She has published a book entitled, Lace Up Those Sneakers, Let’s Take a Walk with God,especially designed for women’s studies. Her hobbies include walking, cooking, and traveling the world.
Tiffany Malone lives in Athens, AL and was united with Christ in baptism at a young age. A minister’s daughter, she grew up in the church, cultivating a strong love for God and ministering to His people. She has been married to Jerome, her partner in ministry, for more than 18 years. They have a daughter, Janaya (17 years old), and a son, Jerome, Jr. (12 years old).
Tiffany has a very busy ministry to women, teens, and young adults across the country. She also is a minister through song, a gift she enjoys offering as ministry and encouragement to all she can. In addition to her personal participation in music ministry, she has a vision to give back to the next generation. She is among the among the founders of the National Youth Vocal Ministry Camp, an annual camp held in Alabama each year designed to teach, train, and equip youth and young adults in the art, ministry, and skill of acapella music and spiritual growth and development.
Tiffany feels a very special call to women of all ages to be used as a vessel to share, teach, instruct, and empower. Her women’s ministry, Surrender, Girl!, hosts a Community Women’s Bible Study weekly in the heart of the community, aimed at encouraging women from all walks of life and introducing them to Jesus. She blogs at www.surrendergirl.com. She wants to allow the Holy Spirit to use her in the capacity that He sees fit to build up the body of Christ, and to make Christ known to the world.
