Just before Christmas, 25 precious children in Haiti received a MAGI distribution. Thanks to our amazing donors who support our increasingly popular Sponsor-A-Box option, funds were available for supplies to fill 25 bookbags, purchased and packed in Haiti, all for the community of Bergeau.
The children who received the bags are students at Nouvelle Ecole de L’Eglise du Christ de Bergeau, which means New School of the Church of Christ in Bergeau. They were so happy to receive gifts of school supplies and basic hygiene necessities. Their teachers say that MAGI means everything to their community, especially with the unrest that Haitians have endured for months on end. MAGI serves as an effective method of encouragement and replenishment, both practically and at heart.
One child explained that MAGI brings happiness to his life. He said he had never received such a present, and that he appreciated HHI so very much. Even in his few years, and in his situation of need, this dear one asked God to bless Healing Hands International.
