The MAGI Project, one of HHI’s five programs, exists to share God’s love with a hurting world. Through MAGI, you have the opportunity to Make A Godly Impact by meeting the physical needs of a child living in poverty. Each gift opens doors and hearts to hear the Word of God. There is power in a gift box when it is given with the love and message of Jesus Christ.
Earlier this year, nearly 200 MAGI boxes were hand delivered to children in Choluteca, Honduras.
These boxes are hand packed with love by churches and volunteer groups across the United States. Before they are shipped, a dedicated group of volunteers carefully checks every single box to ensure it is ready to bless a child.
Local partners shared: “MAGI trajo felicidad a nuestra comunidad; nuestros niños esperan con ansias esos regalitos que llenan de alegría.” Magi brought happiness to our community; our children eagerly await those little gifts that fill them with joy.
“Los regalos MAGI son usados para motivar a nuestros niños a seguir a Jesús.” MAGI gifts are used to motivate our children to follow Jesus.
“Las familias aquí se dedican a el cultivo de maíz y frijol somos muy pobres y no podemos comprar regalos para navidad a nuestros niños pero MAGI lo hace feliz a nuestros niños.” The families here dedicate themselves to the cultivation of corn and beans. We are very poor and cannot buy Christmas gifts for our children, but MAGI makes our children happy.
Through one of our partners, Mission Lazarus, and the preachers who come from Mission Lazarus to preach the Word of God, these gifts are part of sharing the message of Christ.
