"An Anchor of Hope in the Eye of the Storm" - 3rd Annual Conference

January 21-22, 2011

Your kids go on youth retreats and camps and come back so energized and uplifted in the Lord. You are thankful that they have these opportunities, but do you ever long to have this re-charging for yourself? That is the purpose behind the "Women of Hope" conference hosted by Healing Hands. It is an opportunity for Christian women to come together for encouragement and fellowship. It is our chance to get our spiritual batteries re-charged and to bond with other God-seeking women.

The theme for 2011 focuses on God as our anchor in the storms of life. This year, many in the middle TN area and around the world have faced the devastation of an actual storm. We all face emotional and spiritual storms every day. What do we have as Christian women as an anchor for our souls during both the physical storms of life and also the emotional storms we face?

Keynote Speakers

Rhonda Lowry of Nashville, TN will also be joining us again this year as a keynote speaker. Rhonda is the current first lady of Lipscomb and also an assistant professor. She often focuses her speaking engagements on spiritual formation. She is a frequent speaker at Laity Lodge in Texas, a program of the H. E. Butt Foundation dedicated to enabling Christians to know Jesus deeply and to serve him in the everyday places of their lives. We look forward to being encouraged by Rhonda and her passion for service!

Breakout Sessions

This year, we will again be offering several different breakout sessions for women of all ages. These sessions are designed to offer an opportunity for small group discussions and interaction with sisters who share similar interests and lifestyles.
