Hey y'all! Thanks for visiting
If you've never heard of Walk4Water here is a little bit about it -- Walk4Water is a part of a larger nonprofit organization called Healing Hands International that is all about raising money and awareness for third world countries. By donating to Walk4Water and participating in these events, you're helping support a community in a third world country get access to clean water that will be used in all areas of life.
Right now, in this same world we're living in, women and children are walking on average 4 miles one way to get water for drinking, doing laundry, cooking, etc. And what's even more sad, is that right now, every 26 seconds a child dies from water-borne illnesses from that very water they had to walk so far and work so hard to get. Healing Hands, and me too, believe that WATER IS LIFE. SO! Lace up those walking shoes you've got hidden in the back of your closet and come walk with me and my friends on October 19 at 10:00 am so that we can help bring water to a community in need. Just think, just by walking that ONE DAY, you'll be saving so many lives.
