9th year brings a change of scenery
Update as of 6/12/2017
We were able to use the funds raised at the walk to drill a well in Haiti. We will post the well report once the project is complete!
In the meantime we wanted to present the first well repair report of 2017. We wanted you to see how Healing Hands is committed to keeping the water flowing in Haiti.
After 8 years at Shelter #3 @ Duke Park, the walk found a new location. The weather once again tried to play havoc on one of our walks this year and once again could not stop people from Making A Difference. We decided to move the walk to the Mid-County church of Christ building so people could have the option of walking inside or outside. The change of location was well recieved as everyone was committed to the reason we walk. Thank you to everyone from the Troy area and other areas like Tipp City and Lima! This year funds raised was the highest total in all 9 years. Next year will be the 10th year to have a walk in Troy, so make sure to go ahead and make plans to be there on the first Saturday in May.
