In the middle of a storm

The sounds of thunder filled the skies on Sunday morning along with heavy rain.  The first Walk4Water in Marshall, TX did not budge.  "We have a backup plan but the walk is on" was the message everyone heard.  When it came time to walk the rain stopped and 120 plus people took the journey around Marshall Middle School. The walk ended back came the rain!  People have to walk every day to get water because it is a necessity and they do not have the luxury of not walking because it may rain or it may be hot.  The participants at the walk were able to get a small sample of what life is like for others.  They decided not to just walk but to make a difference by raising enough money to sponsor two wells!! Way to go Marshall.
