The Ham Lane Church of Christ will be the host sight of the 3rd Annual Lodi Community Walk4Water Event. Water is the most abundant substance on our planet and it is vital for the existence of all living things. Even during times of drought, such as we are currently experiencing here in California, we still take having access to clean drinking water for granted. However, in many other undeveloped countries around the world, people do not have easy access to clean, safe drinking water. The average distance women and children have to walk each day to get water is four miles. This is why we will do a four mile walk to help raise awareness and the funds to change the cycle. Will you register to walk and support our efforts? Our prayer is that we will walk so that they don’t have to. If you are unable to join us, any donation you can give will help. The promise of Jesus is “if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded” (Matthew 10:42, NLV).
