Project Details

At Healing Hands, we believe that no one should live without love or water! Now, in the Kachote village of Zambia, more than 1,000 precious souls will know God's love because of your gift of clean water. Much like the Samaritan woman in John 4, when these people come to draw clean drinking water, they will also have the opportunity to encounter the living water of Jesus. As always, God does the healing, but He is using your hands (and feet) to do it.

Thank you, Peachtree City!

The Difference It Made!

The Former Well

Nelly Kazoka, a local villager, expressed joy and relief that her village now has a year-round source of clean water. Nelly says that before this well, the village was losing people because of the lack of available clean water. Prior to the drilling of this well, villagers either walked to the Chowa River, 10 kilometers away, or dug wells, like the one pictured to the left.

In the picture, some of the villagers are demonstrating how they got water before this well was drilled, which required three men from the village to be positioned in and around the well in order to draw up enough water for the community. Another community member said that this well has completely transformed the village and the lives of those who live in it.

THANK YOU for your gift of clean water!
