Project Details
At Healing Hands, we believe that no one should live without love or water! Now, in the community of Ruwangwe, Zimbabwe, more than 1,200 precious souls will know God’s love because of your gift of clean water. Much like the Samaritan woman in John 4, when these people come to draw clean drinking water, they will also have the opportunity to encounter the "living water" of Jesus. As always, God does the healing, but He is using your hands (and feet) to do it.

The Difference It Made!
Meet Vision Gorogodo, who is a student at the Ruwangwe school, the location of this well. Vision says that before the well was drilled, she can recall times when students would faint from a lack of water. She and other students would travel around the community during the school day asking for water for themselves and their teachers.
The school headmaster said that the water well opens up lots of opportunities to the school, including starting new agricultural programs that will further impact the lives of the students and community members. Now, thanks to your gift, Vision and other students can focus on their schoolwork without the worry of needing to look for water, and they may have new learning opportunities in the future because of this well.
