At Healing Hands, we believe that no one should live without love or water! Now, the 830 students and 31 teachers at Machitenda Primary School, and the 1,500 community members in the area, will know God's love because of your gift of clean water. Much like the Samaritan woman in John 4, when these people come to draw clean drinking water, they will also have the opportunity to encounter the living water of Jesus. As always, God does the healing, but He is using your hands (and feet) to do it.

The Difference It Made!
Meet Elina Rufasha, the head of the Machitenda Primary School in the Masvingo province of Zimbabwe. Elina has worked at the school for many years, and has seen firsthand the hardships that a lack of water creates for her students.
The school garden is used as an educational resource for the students, but also as a source of food for school lunches. Due to the severe drought conditions in Zimbabwe, the garden has not been productive. The closest water source, before the well was drilled, was a pond that is now dried up. The school asked students to bring water with them to school for both drinking and cooking. Now, thanks to YOU, these students have the ability to collect clean water to take home at the end of the day, and the school garden can flourish! Lunch is the only meal that many of these students receive, so by providing clean water, you have also provided a reliable food source for these children. THANK YOU!
