Helping Honduras
Posted by Zach Bissell on May 31, 2018

We recently shipped two 40-foot containers for Brentwood Hills Church of Christ in Tennessee and Mission Lazarus.

Brentwood Hills’ container will be going to Children on the Way, an orphanage in Honduras. This shipment included pallets of medical supplies and kits filled with baby supplies. They shipped 100 water filters and buckets. The church also sent exam tables, chairs, and office furniture. The Brentwood Hills youth group will arrive in July to distribute the materials to the kids at the orphanage.

Mission Lazarus’ container will arrive in Honduras as well. They loaded their container with washers, dryers, and office furniture. The shipment included welding supplies that will go to Mission Lazarus’ vocational school and sewing machines that will be used in their workshops. They also shipped various light fixtures and multiple pallets of miscellaneous items.

In the next few weeks, we will be getting a container ready to ship to Haiti. Then, we will be focusing on our shipment to Tanzania for Dr. Danny Smelser of Florence, Alabama. We will be shipping furniture for a multi-purpose room, specifically used as a cafeteria. We will also be sending several x-ray machines.
