Drilling in Ethiopia
Posted by Lori Kovach on February 9, 2012

The drilling crew in Ethiopia has just completed the 18th well in HHI's 42 well agreement with that nation. Curt King and his crew have been working diligently to provide the people of Ethiopia with access to clean water. On this day, Curt was celebrating his 42nd wedding anniversary to his wonderful wife, Mary and the crew was drilling on their own for the very first time. Luckily, the crew had been trained well because when they struck water it was coming at 60 gallons per minute!

This well and the hundreds of others that have been drilled by Healing Hands since 2001 have been made possible by the thousands of caring individuals who supported our Clean Water Projects. If you are interested in sponsoring a well you can create a fundraising page or you can sign up to host a Walk 4 Water. Contact Lori Kovach at LKovach@hhi.org for further details.
