A father lives through the legacy left by his son... Carl Burkybile was soon to leave with his son to take their first trip to Kenya. Just six months before the trip, Carl and Ruth Ann's 19 year old son, John was killed in a car accident.

The Tangale people of Northern Nigeria are ruled by the Mai Tanglem Kude (Big Tangale Chief), pictured left. The current Mai was crowned in 2002 and in 2010 was introduced to Healing Hands' African Director of Agriculture, Ebenezer Udofia.
