Hello! We are the White family! Our names are Andy, Lindsay, Silas, Sipsey and Cypress. We are originally from beautiful North Alabama, but now reside in sunny Colorado. We are on a journey. Hiking has been deep in Andy’s heart for years, but he was reluctant to do such a venture away from the family for long. But then another desire crept into our hearts: to give, to help, to love. Weeks ago, we drove a short distance to a mountain water source, simply put our containers underneath, then brought home gallons of beautiful, clean water. As our kids were gleefully playing in the water, Andy looked at me and said, “Don’t you wish everyone had access to clean water?” And we both knew - we wanted to help some wonderful people get clean water.

This idea has been percolating in Andy’s mind for a while. What if we go on an adventure and ask people to sponsor us - with all money going toward digging a well? So this is our journey: Andy and 13 year old Silas are going to hike the 486 mile Colorado Trail in July, while Lindsay, Sipsey and Cypress will be their support team - going to visit, getting their food, being whatever they need. We ask that you join us on our journey to give to something bigger than us. We love the thought of all doing this together - giving those who are thirsty a drink of water. Helping to give dignity to those who have no sanitation facilities. To help give time back to the girls who spend hours of their day walking to get clean, or not so clean, water. To help give health to kids and adults who spend their lives, or death, in constant sickness. Join us as we give our journey to others Jesus asked us to see - to truly see.

Clean Water

The Clean Water program provides water wells and filters for those who would otherwise be drinking dirty, unhealthy water. A clean water well in the community allows people to pursue education, agriculture, and work opportunities rather than spending hours searching for a water source.
