"Ever since I was a kid I wanted to visit Africa. Little did I know that this dream would soon become a reality.

I had the opportunity to finally go this past offseason and I absolutely LOVED it! I visited the Masai Mara in Kenya and was amazed with how beautiful this place was.

During my visit to Kenya, we visited a school in which we provided books, footballs, and soccer balls. The experience was one of a kind. The children were so happy and welcoming. We got to spend time learning Swahili and we were able to teach them English and how to play football. This is something I will always remember.

At one point during our visit, I noticed a young girl with a water bottle that was filled with brown water. I became concerned and saddened when I saw this. I asked the people at the school if they had access to clean water, and they said it was many miles away. At that moment, I knew I had to do something. I had to find a way to provide them with clean water.

Once we left Kenya, it remained on my heart to give back to that community. I want to build a well near or at the school to provide clean water for the children and their families. Having access to clean water means having the opportunity to a better life." - KJ Wright

Clean Water

The Clean Water program provides water wells and filters for those who would otherwise be drinking dirty, unhealthy water. A clean water well in the community allows people to pursue education, agriculture, and work opportunities rather than spending hours searching for a water source.
