The Bride Price Is Finally Paid!

From Marware village of eastern Zimbabwe comes an inspiring story of the impact of Survival Gardening training.  Todd Mugomba, a 2017 trainee of the HHI two day workshop told us, “I have been married for 23 years now and have five children.   Unfortunately, I have not been in a position to thank my in-laws by paying the bride price. I have done many different kinds of jobs but could still not make my bride price payment until this year. Since I received the training on survival gardening techniques from HHI, I am able to earn the income.”  HHI Trainer, John Dube, says if a man has not paid his bride price to his in-laws he is despised and not respected.

Because of the training HHI provided, Todd has been able to pay the bride price through the sale of vegetables and chickens creating the opportunity to re-build his relationship with his in-laws.

For just $25, you can empower a family like Todd's with the tools and training needed to Feed A Family For Life!
