Currently five ladies are volunteering as cooks to prepare Feed My Starving Children Manna Pack meals for 200 children twice a week. One full box of Manna Pack balanced meals is being used each day. Volunteer cook Chipo Madondo says, “We are expecting an increase in the number of children as more hear about the program."

Healing Hands International wants to help people have a more stable food supply. Through producing a second crop in the dry season and preserving the excess in the rainy season, malnutrition and hunger are reduced and family health is improved.

Every April Healing Hands International conducts a two day “train the trainer” workshop teaching participants sustainable agriculture gardening skills.  This year 25 people were a part of the workshop that developed compost piles, African style drip irrigated raised planting beds, and American style drip irrigated raised planting beds.
