On April 18, 2009, hundreds of people ranging from toddlers to retirees came out to Nashville Shores to "walk 4 water." Together, they raised enough funds to bring the gift of clean water to more than 15,000 people.
Women and children in developing countries walk an average of four miles a day to collect water for their families. The premise behind this event is that "we walk so they don't have to."
To date, HHI has provided clean water to more than 300 villages and we have plans for many more this year.
Make plans to join us next year for the 4th annual Walk 4 Water on April 17, 2010. Our goal for this event is to double the number of people we are able to help. Will you help us reach this goal?
