On June 9, the youth group from College Hills church of Christ came out to HHI offices to spend the day volunteering. These girls are listening to instructions from agricultural director, David Goolsby, on harvesting vegetables from the survival garden.
Warren and MaryEtta Whitelaw of the Mid-County church of Christ in Troy, OH recently led a group of about 40 walkers in their 1st annual Walk 4 Water. These Buckeyes raised over $4,000 for clean water projects around the world and had a great day of fellowship while doing it.
The Lakeview congregation in Tacoma, Washington is believed to be the largest church of Christ in the state. It is also the home of the spokesband for Walk 4 Water: The Redding Brothers.
The band members' younger brother, Daniel, contacted Healing Hands a few short months ago with the idea of hosting his own walk in Tacoma. He quickly got to work promoting the event in his own church and also at youth rallies around the area.
