Medical Aid

HHI frequently provides medical supplies and equipment for traveling groups and sister organizations. Click here to see a video from one of these groups.

Men, women, and children are hurting all over the world as a result of inadequate medical care. For many people in other regions of the world, treatment is too expensive and doctors are too far away.

Often, doctors, clinics, and hospitals do not have the tools that would allow them to diagnose and treat patients who are suffering from the most basic ailments. Latex gloves are washed and used again many times. Individuals with disabilities cannot move around freely because they do not have access to a wheel chair or other orthopedic supplies.

Through programs in medical aid and relief, Healing Hands International provides patients, doctors, clinics, and hospitals with the medications, medical equipment, and supplies that they need to improve their quality of life and save the lives of others. By taking steps to heal the body, we may be opening doors to heal the soul.

This is a picture of one of the four ambulances that HHI shipped to Cuba.

Following the Tsunami, HHI was able to provide a mobile clinic that travels the coastline of India providing basic medical care for those devastated by the storm. Under the direction of Bro. Paul Renganathan, the clinic has worked in more than 27 villages and treated over 6,000 patients to date.

He had this to say about those being treated, “The happy faces of those who received help brought much glory to God.”
