Why Donate to Healing Hands International?
For every dollar that you give to Healing Hands, 91 cents goes directly to projects that help alleviate the suffering of people in need. Our goal is to always give a hand-up rather than simply a hand-out. In every place, we aim to teach sustainable methods that help people in need to better take care of themselves.
At the same time that people's physical needs are being met, their hearts are also being opened to the gospel. People who have seen the love of God in action are much more likely to heed the good news of Jesus Christ. For the last 15 years, missionaries have been able to use the aid provided by Healing Hands and its supporters to demonstrate the love of Christ, and thereby open doors into the hearts of countless souls.

Other Giving Options
Options in giving continue to grow. Our government actually encourages individuals and groups to give to charities through tax credits and incentives. As part of your long-range financial planning, you may wish to make gifts that will be received after you and your loved ones no longer need the assets to fund the gift. By properly understanding the options available, you can provide for your own needs, those of your family and leave a legacy that will continue to help others for years to come.
Giving through your will can be a convenient way to leave a philanthropic legacy. After providing for your loved ones, you may decide to give a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or all or a portion of what remains after individuals have been remembered. Giving through revocable living trust is another avenue to consider. A Charitable Remainder Trust can protect heirs from oppressive estate taxes, provide them an income over 5, 10 or 20 years and create an endowment for a work that is close to your heart.
Such gifts can enable you to convert appreciated low yielding assets to a source of additional income without incurring capital gains taxes at the time. Imagine leaving a legacy that reduces or eliminates estate taxes, provides income for your family and endows the Lord’s work for years to come.
