The news media is now reporting that the death toll in Myanmar is expected to exceed 100,000 people. While this is tragic, there are still thousands of survivors who need our help.
Many aid organizations and governments are frustrated at the lack of access to Myanmar, but HHI has the contacts needed to get aid to these people and we are in the process of doing so.
With the food inflation crisis the world is already facing, experts are predicting that this disaster will create a long term food shortage for the people of Burma. The need is urgent!
